quick2chat Chat Pipelines and how to update the default chat pipeline in tenant admin settings
Video
Details:
Our chat platform provides a way to create chat bots (we call them chat pipelines) using chat components.
A chat component might include 'route chat to person' or 'engage with AI' or 'view tickets'.
So, our chat pipelines are created using chat components organized in some logical flow or sequence.
Each chat pipeline is a unique chat bot.
By default, one chat pipeline is set as the default pipeline for each tenant (department). This default chat pipeline will be called when chats are received from Microsoft Teams.
By default we ship with 3 chat pipelines
- Route to all agents
- Engage AI and then route to all agents
- Engage AI and then route to primary and then secondary agent lists
This video shows how to change the default chat pipeline - if , as part of your POC, you want to change the default pipeline for your instance (i.e. from Route to All Agents to AI Then Route To Agents).

Hi, in this quick video I want to show how managers and admins can take a look at chat pipelines, what they do and how to change them. So if you go to manage dashboard and then chat pipelines, you can see we have multiple different ones in here. Each of them do different things. For example, this route to all agents option sends the chat to different people in the um all agents routing list and then you can give uh chat feedback after the chat. While this one here, this one routes to AI and then tries to send to multiple different groups of agents and then also has option for feedback and uh AI chat summary at the end. So, if you're coming in from Teams, the primary tenant pipeline is the one that you'll hit. And if you want to update that, you can click on admin, then tenant settings, and then go to chat pipeline, and then pick that one from the list here. And then go ahead and hit save.
